We charge flat-rate fees for certain investigations to procure information, these are agreed with the client in advance. In contrast, on-the-spot investigations, observation work, deployment of technicians etc. are invoiced by actual time and other expenditure on the basis of our fee contract.
If you also obtain offers from other providers, you will see that, on balance, we are value for money. Our hourly rates certainly do no place us amongst the discounters in the country, yet we believe – as do virtually all of our clients – that our price/performance ratio is more than reasonable.

Please remember that in the extremely sensitive field of investigative work, success primarily depends on extraordinary creativity, routine skills allied to years of experience, confidential contacts to the most varied informants and the availability of technical equipment. Furthermore, absolute integrity, silence and resistance to attempted bribery are essential. If you want to buy a certain product today with well defined features, it almost always pays to compare prices. Yet our services could be likened to those of an advertising agency: it is no use choosing the cheapest agency if the campaign they come up with does not boost sales, and then their service is rotten into the bargain. At the start you may think you are saving money, but it quickly becomes apparent (and generally ruefully clear) that nothing has been achieved. The money thought to have been saved suddenly and surprisingly becomes quite expensive!
We therefore think that the advertising slogan “Geiz ist geil” (thrift is cool) used by a well known white goods retailer in Germany is rather silly. As a rule – especially over the medium and long-term – the saying “quality has its price” is shrewder and makes more economic sense. Everyone must realise that professionals are always a little more expensive than unqualified part-timers, with whom even some providers in our business work (something we do not understand at all).
It is therefore only fair to point out here that we do not participate in tenders for detective work as a matter of principle. We try to convince by performance, not by dumping prices! Finally, a word on success and performance: we are not able to influence the facts of the case during investigations, we cannot control the conduct of targets during observations. The quality of our work during investigations thus consists of painstaking inquiries, adopting believable aliases and utilizing all the available sources of information without any “ifs & buts”. Observations are successful if they are not noticed by the target and – depending on the framework conditions and the number of observers deployed – this cannot always be guaranteed, even by the most professional observer.
Yet we cannot twist hard facts, nor support wishful thinking without substance.
However, it goes without saying that the crowning glory for our assignment is if the knowledge gained confirms the client's suspicions, and/or a target of observation pursues precisely the activities that were suspected.
